The laundry has had an upgrade
One of the rooms in a home which has in the past been neglected when it comes to renovation and user-friendly design is the laundry, but not anymore. The laundry has had an upgrade and nowadays many of us want a fabulous, versatile space.

Multipurpose is the go
Most of us want a laundry that is multipurpose, and a laundry design that helps save you time and effort. Some like the idea of a European style laundry where it is integrated in the kitchen. Others love the idea of a hidden laundry where clever design features mean you barely know it’s there.

Hidden laundries are popular
Our hidden design laundry has a space for a front loader, a pull-out laundry basket and pull-down wardrobe rail, plus an ironing centre as well as storage for cleaning products.

We offer solutions for laundry accessories with clever engineering touches such as bi-fold or multi-fold doors, were the tracks can open and close easily in the designated space.

We can also help design laundry doors which can slide to the left or the right seamlessly.

Clever, space-saving accessories
An important laundry accessory to choose is cabinets. Ours is manufactured with high moisture resistant E1 board and chip resistant PVC edging.

All cabinets are mounted on plastic adjustable legs with clip-on kick boards for increased water resistance. Stone, Hi Macs, Hanex or Corian acrylic or laminate bench tops are used depending on your style and budget.

Storage is king
Multipurpose laundry rooms or utility rooms can help save valuable space in your home. The laundry sink can be used to bathe your pets; your laundry cupboard can store sports equipment, gardening tools and umbrellas.

If your laundry is at the front of the house, consider using it as an area for mail, mobile phones and keys. Include a bench seat or stool, wall-mounted hooks for bags and a coat stand.

Laundry décor
Consider using a bright paint or wallpaper to make doing the chores more enjoyable. Fun signs, posters, murals and wall decals can also add character to the space. Think of your storage as decor, too – look for bins and baskets with decorative touches, and use interesting hangers.
