3 Ways You Can Create a Unique Kitchen Design without Looking Like an Amateur
We all love the idea of designing a kitchen that reflects who we are and why this special room in our home matters so much. Luckily, there are so many ways you can be inspired by design choices available these days so you won’t find yourself short of ideas. Here are 3 ways you can create a unique kitchen design without looking like an amateur.
Like most things, probably the best approach is to keep it simple. One of the best ways to do this is to think of a unifying theme.
Would you like your kitchen to have a slick and functional design? One of the best ways to do that is by introducing a colour scheme that offers both a traditional tone but with an edge. For example, a sleek and functional kitchen could have a black and white contrast. This would work especially well if your kitchen is light and airy. You could design a kitchen without looking like an amateur by having shark nose polyurethane doors in white matched with a bar and island area and doors in black. You could also arrange to have accessories and other design features such as the splash back in the contrasting black and white.
Bold is beautiful
If you’re someone who likes to really make a statement, you can create a kitchen design by using bold colours that pop in the space. Of course, it is a matter of personal taste but a combination of grey and orange can work well giving your reimagined space a modern up-tempo feel. Not only will the colour scheme turn heads but another easy way to create a unique design is to incorporate integrated spaces such as an integrated panel dishwasher or integrated sink and draining grooves with seamless joints.
Change the space
It would, of course, depend on your home’s configuration, but some of our clients have decided to move part of their kitchen into another space to create a bigger kitchen. In one case the kitchen was extended into the garage space in order to house the pantry and the integrated fridge. The door to the garage was replaced with a matching cabinet door.
